CPA Arbitrage, by Chris Cobb, is an e-book/course that claims it contains the best and easiest ways to make money online. I checked it out myself and I’m here to tell you the truth about it.

Here’s what I’m going to cover in this review:

That all depends on where you’re at with internet marketing. This course is not for the beginner… It assumes you have a basic knowledge of PPC and Google Adwords, and can perform basic market research.

If you’re one of those people that can’t do anything for themselves though, nothing you buy will help you so this is a great place to start with learning to find markets and keywords.

Everything you need to help you along the way is included though. Chris definitely doesn’t hold anything back in regards to resources. He lists about 4 to 5 resources to help you for each step of his process, from keyword research to market research to campaign testing. Most of them are free too, and he recommends additional resources you can check out to ‘scale up’ campaigns.

The proof and testimonials

There are quite a few testimonials on the sales page, but none of them had contact information or email addresses, so I wasn’t able to contact any of them.

Now it’s time for the Pros and Cons…

I’ve been pretty skeptical of this product so far in this review, but there are certainly a lot of Pros. I’ll list both the Pros and the Cons though so you see everything CPA Arbitrage has to offer.

Chris is awesome with researching markets and keywords, which is information anyone can always use. Apart fron that, CPA Arbitrage helped me understand the value of CPA advertising, and I’m now implementing the methods in this course myself.

Also, I really don’t think you stand half as good a chance getting into CPA networks without Chris’s little “cheat sheet” to use when you have to talk to the representatives of the networks. And don’t be intimidated by this, it’s not hard to do at all, and Chris tells you everything you need to say.

The verdict…

I’ve decided that there’s nothing really groundbreaking or new in CPA Arbitrage, but the information in it was definitely solid. There are, however, a couple of commonly overlooked tricks that can lead to huge profits. Chris walks you through everything step-by-step and doesn’t make the leaps other PPC/CPA products tend to do.

As I’ve said before, you need to have a bit of knowledge of AdWords and PPC marketing, as in you just need to know how to set up an AdWords campaign. You may also need to know how to edit Web pages, but you can either get around this with methods in the e-book or use fee editors like NVu. Chris takes it from there and helps you with everything else. If you follow the instructions, I have no doubt you’ll make money with CPA Arbitrage.

Six Figure Yearly -   This has a lot of personal story with it.  The guts of the program are very basic intro to keywords, and how to make money using Google adwords.  There is a good beginner’s adwords tutorial, and offerings of pre-built websites, and instructions on building your own.  The Six Figure program itself sells well enough to promote, but  the affiliate communication with the program could be much better. Super Affiliate Handbook – This e-book includes lifetime upgrades and access to the Net Profits Today newsletter and forum for a very reasonable price.  It is written by Ros Gardner, a famous super affiliate, who has helped many people succeed also.  She explains in-depth what affiliate programs are including payment methods, checklist to join or not, how to set up WordPress.org (not the free version), and much more.  I still use her book and newsletter. PPC Classroom 2.0 – This is a terrific program for affiliates needing to learn pay-per-click.  Once joined you have lifetime access to the learning modules.  The niche detective, and forum access are extra monthly charges.  I learned loads about how to do ppc per Google adwords (only- not Yahoo), and how to use Google adwords editor.

These Wealthy Affiliate comparisons each have a bit of what Wealthy Affiliate contains.  The WA program is a one stop  online university that really gives in-depth info on how to drive traffic (more so than any of the above), and covers every aspect of affiliate training, like article marketing (free)!

Pick the networks you want to join based on these criteria:

From my experience and research I would recommend the following networks, to start off with:

Follow these suggestions and you will get accepted. Be extra careful if you do not reside in the United States, as most CPA networks are very wary of Non-US based affiliates.

Rule number one – Never appear to be a newbie or a beginner, even if you are one.

Networks do not like filling up their books with newbies, because their earning potential is very low.

You must come across as a person who knows what he wants, knows what he is doing, and is successful at doing it.

Always, look like, and talk like a seasoned affiliate marketer, and this is what you have to do, to appear so.

Have a well designed professional looking website.

If you do not have a website, then set up an hosting account with a company like Hostmonster or Hostgator.

Register a domain name that is linked to internet marketing or affiliate marketing industry. The CPA industry would be more professional. Set up your website with at least 10 to 15 pages of relevant quality content, all CPA, CPL and affiliate marketing related.

It would be easier for you to set up a blog, as most hosting companies have CPanel, which has a WordPress blog creating function in it. It is very simple. Just follow the tutorial videos contained in very CPanel, and you would do fine.

Have a business looking email address, not a free yahoo, hotmail or Gmail address, but a paid email application. You can create one with the hosting company of your website.

This is an example of the domain name and email account you can set up. This is an example only and not an existing domain name: 21stcenturyaffilatemarketing.com and an email address that looks likthis admin(at)21stcenturyaffiliatemarketing.com or this yourname(at)21stcenrutyaffiliatemarketing.com.

Having done that, remember to set up a Skype account, it is free. Let your Skype id be your name or part of the domain name of your website.

Most CPA networks like talking to their prospective affiliates. They may phone you, and these are the typical questions they would ask you.

Question: How long have you been doing Affiliate Marketing?

Suggested Answer: Last 18 to 24 months. Quantify it in months because the volume sounds larger. Say 24 months instead of 2 years, because 24 definitely sounds larger than 2.

Question: How much of targeted traffic do you attract to your website. How many unique visitors do you get per month?

Suggested Answer: 50,000 to 10,0000.

Question: How do you get your traffic?

Suggested Answer: You build blogs on domain names that are high search volume key phrases in the niche that you want to operate in. Apart from Organic Search Engine Results because your blogs are highly ranked by Google you also run PPC campaigns on Google for promising lucrative offers

Question: What type of advertising have you had success with so far?

Suggested Answer: Only Google PPC till now.

Question: What type of offers are you interested in, or want to work with?

Suggested Answer: Any Converting offer.

Most of the webhoster uses Fantastico to support their clients. Fantastico and Fantastico Deluce (they are both the same) are scripts which can install some software automaticly with one click (One-Click-Install). This is more easy as the manual installation of WordPress, so please have a look at your webhoster cPanel if you can find the Fantastico button.

Choose the domain where you want to install wordpress. You can set the admin nickname and password and then fill in the site name. It’s good if the site name contains at least one keyword of your site. Enter a brief description of your site in the “Description” field.

When you installed WordPress you should log into your new blog: www.thisisyourdomain.com/wp-admin and then enter the username and password you chose before. It’s userfriendly and self explanatory.

There are thousands of plugins available, but you’ll only need a few at the beginnig. If you use much plugins, your site could load slowly. We’ll focus on a few plugins for now.

Google loves WordPress, but you have to optimize your Blog a little bit more to rank higher and increase your organic web traffic.This free traffic is the best you could have and it will never stop! Google XML Sitempas: Google XML Sitempas creates a sitempa for Google which helps your ranking again. Contact Form 7: Contact Form 7 is a great plugin! You can set up your own contact form so every visitor can send you a mail. I think every blog needs a contact form.

How to install the plugins? You can install these Plugins via FTP program or with WordPress directly. If you are logged into your account, search for the Plugin section and search the three plugins I told you before. Then you can install them automaticly. Often this feature doesn’t work with all hosting provider. If you logged into your FTP account, you should find a folder called “wp-content”. In it you can see the folder “plugins”, open it and insert the three plugins (unzipped of course).

Allright, now you need something that every blog should have. First, create an “About Me” or “About” page. Then of course the “Contact” Page with the Plugin Contact Form 7. To be fully legal, insert a Privacy Policy into your blog.

Now you should install Google Analytics to track your visitors. The installation of Google Analytics is described by google and shouldn’t be a huge problem.

Now something really important: Change the structure of the permalinks in the admin panel of WordPress to “Custom Structure” and then “/%postname%/“.

Now you’re read to start blogging your articles. Concentrate and focus on your subject and you’ll see results rolling in within a few weeks or months.
